I fancy myself a nice hybrid of technical and creative brains. When creating a podcast, the veneer and overall aural aesthetic of the show must be just as pristine as the content itself. After years of music production, some of these things are now second nature to me. From eq, noise gating, to noise suppression, there are some powerful technical tools that can bring your podcast (or any audio project for that matter) to a new level of quality. However, the configurations and features may seem quite perplexing at first. This is why I wanted to share a presentation I recently delivered with some fellow hospitality industry folks. It describes the overall market of podcasts down to the technical details of mixing/recording. I hope you enjoy. Please reach out if you have any questions.
