“Creating Different” is an innovative sensory workshop combining decades of experience in distillation, audio engineering, brand design, and fragrance composition. In this unique class, we disambiguate the mental phenomenon synesthesia. By codifying characteristics of sound, sight, taste, and smell, new avenues of creativity begin to emerge. The highly interactive experience deconstructs aromatic compounds, distillates, and pop music to later synthesize them through a series of exercises; the last of which involves crafting a custom fragrance. “Creating Different” aspires to unlock new perspectives of creativity for anyone seeking inspiration.
